Coverage for treatment methods include, but are not limited to, the following:

Holistic and Alternative Treatments must be prescribed and provided by, or under the direct supervision of, a veterinary for covered injury or illness.

Coverage for Behavioral Problems, not caused by an underlying medical condition, including but not limited to, aggression, anxiety, and destructive and/or compulsive behavior prescribed and provided by, or under the direct supervision of, a veterinary up to the annual maximum benefit of $500.00 for covered illness.

Alternative Care benefits are subject to the Per Incident Copay if elected or coinsurance or policy annual deductible. Behavioral coverage is not subject to any Per Incident Copay, if elected, coinsurance or policy annual deductible. The Accident, Illness and Orthopedic Waiting Periods apply for the Holistic and Alternative benefit. The Illness waiting period applies for the Behavioral Problems benefit.

Coverage for advertising and reward for lost pets, boarding fees in the event you are hospitalized, liability coverage for third-party property damage, cremation or burial for death, holiday vacation cancellation costs.

Benefits are subject to the Per Incident Copay if elected or coinsurance or policy annual deductible. These are also subject to the Injury and Illness waiting periods. Treatments must be prescribed by a veterinarian and administered for covered injury or illness.
